Author Biographies
The Journal of Kinesiology and Wellness (JKW) requires an author biography for every author listed on a manuscript. Biographies must be provided before a submission can continue through processing, so preparing them in advance helps avoid delays.
Formatting Options
Choose either of the two formats below. You may use whichever you prefer, but use the same format consistently for all authors on the manuscript.
Format 1 — Concise
Name, credentials, and institution, followed by title.
Steven Ross Murray, DA, MS, University of California, Berkeley Professor of Teaching and Director, Physical Education Program, Division of Biological Sciences
Format 2 — Narrative
Name and institution, followed by a brief prose bio.
Duane Knudson, Texas State University
Duane V. Knudson, Ph.D., is a Regents' Professor and University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Health & Human Performance at Texas State University. His research addresses the biomechanics of sport and exercise, qualitative movement diagnosis, and research quality in kinesiology.
